Coach Hessling will be starting his second season at Elk Grove after coaching at New Trier High School for the past 18 years (15 on the varsity level).  He has been a graduate assistant football coach at Illinois State University for 3 years (86-88), then secondary coach at North Central College for two years (89-90).

He has been the varsity offensive line coach, as well as coaching defensive line, and outside linebackers. He is looking forward to working with Coach Doll and restoring the fine tradition that Elk Grove has had in the past. Coach Hessling will be the Varsity Offensive Coordinator this upcoming season.
